"We booked a room for a quick stay for a 2 day Water Country trip and this was the worst possible place we could have chosen. The room was horrible. We originally asked for an early check in and was told that the room was not ready which was totally fine. It seems as if it was not ready when we checked in either. The microwave was not cleaned. It had old dried food in it and we could not put our things in the fridge as that and the freezer was also not cleaned. There was a hole in the wall where the smoke detector used to be and also the border of the wall was falling down. I opened the closet and there was a dirty spoon. The bathroom had an old suave shampoo wrapper in the shower. They could not switch rooms for us because it was fully booked. I’m not sure another room would have been any better. When we pulled out the sleep sofa, there was a few pieces of trash under it. It was just horrible and I would not recommend."

"The property was clean and had a large number of amenities. The rooms were spacious. Even when we had a small issue with a doorknob, maintenance came out quickly to fix it. The staff communicated regularly via text to make sure our stay was going well. Will definitely consider again next time we are in Williamsburg"

"The staff at the front desk were welcoming and kind. The hotel could stand a bit of cleaning and upkeep. The elevators constantly had standing water from pool and hot tub use and multiple times there was food in the elevators (random chicken nuggets and used drinks). The pool and hot tub had a great deal of chlorine and it was burning our eyes. The rooms are decent size and having a fridge and microwave is nice. The beds were firm…could stand to be updated. Breakfast was decent. Overall, an average hotel…nothing that overly stands out."

"For a hotel promoting sleep, the AC doesn't work through the night, suspected motion sensor, so you wake up covered in sweat during a humid summer stay which isn't helpful for sleep. I wouldn't start here again unless maybe it's winter. Staff was great but minimal interactions. Was never asked about my stay."
