"This is my second time celebrating July 4th at the Powhatan Hotel, and I absolutely loved it. My kids loved the excellent dining options, the downtown area with its fireworks, colonial shops, water park, and plenty of family-friendly activities."

It was just what I wanted for a relaxing stay. The pool was very nice. Only one thing I didn’t like was the level of the music at the pool. It was too loud."

It you’re interested in spending time in colonial Williamsburg, this hotel shares a parking lot with the visitor center where the shuttle picks up for the historical area. It’s a cute sprawling hotel tucked away in the woods and the overall attempt at theming was nice. Yes the beds are only double beds but we fit just fine. "
