Overall, I was disappointed with this property.
There were some plus points: The management staff were excellent. The GM Dr. Shobhit and the manager Yusuf. They were both very friendly and willing to accommodate. They made effort to continuously improve which I appreciate.
Another plus is the rooms are large which helps with large families. Also the kitchen staff and waiters were accommodating and they continuously improved breakfast.
However, the property is unfortunately not up to par. The pictures online are not representative of actuality. The rooms, while large, were not clean. The rest of the property is also not clean. Looks old and worn down. Elevators are dirty.
The bathrooms in the rooms were hopeless. None of the showers drained properly. My taps were loose. The bathrooms were never cleaned properly.
Finally, the worst thing about the rooms is they are not at all sound-proof. Felt like the windows were made of paper. The property is in front the railway, and you will hear the trains as if they are passing through your own room. The property needs to invest in sound-proofing!
The staff at the front desk are not helpful. Alifa in particular was rude and not friendly.
Finally the most important part is value. The price we paid was not worth it. I could have paid the same or less and stayed in a better 5 star property such as Cinnamon Grand or The Kingsbury, or Platinum 1 Suites. Next time I would stay at those properties instead.
