Staff were friendly and we had shops and restaurants closer to the hotel

An amazing place with expansive gardens with many pathways to wander along. The lake surrounded by mountains is stunning. We saw two types of monkeys in the garden. There are two pools, one near the huge bar and restaurant and the other at the edge of the property looking over the shore of the lake. The rooms are huge and clean with comfortable beds. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They will pick you up on a small golf buggy from your room and drop you back when ever you need. The food is delicious and so much variety. It's a huge luxury complex work so much to offer! A thoroughly wonderful stay- we booked an extra night so that we could spend time in the hotel grounds to enjoy it as we spent so much time sightseeing outside.

This is a Beautiful old Villa right in the heart of Galle Fort. Room was amazing very generous in size and beautifully styled in colonial manner, huge balcony and excellent bathroom leading off the balcony all 100% private we loved it ! A beautiful small pool which I enjoyed a lot. Full service for fools and beverage should it be required. Breakfast was a real treat served in the dining area overlooking the garden and pool. Staff were 1st rate and helped make the stay special. I will be back !
