"The hotel was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed high tea in the lobby, pool, sauna and health & wellness facilities. I only wish the hotel was a bit more mindful about guest experience when booking main restaurant for corporate events. Better communication and more dining options would be helpful."

"Great location very close to shopping mall and walk along " the Lawn" a popular walk along the sea front at sunset. Hotel has so much history with it being the first and therefore the oldest hotel in Sri Lanka. It is beautifully restored and has 4 restaurants. A great buffet for breakfast afternoon tea and dinner. The King of the Mambo is an amazing bar right on the sea front. A great place to watch the waves crash before you 50 m away! Vishnu one of the bar team was excellent. Reserved a table for us each night and remembered our drinks! Swimming pool is huge right on the indian ocean. We had a relaxing full body massage which was fabulous. We got a balcony room at the front of the hotel which had great views. The room was large, big shower and separate toilet. Lots of wardrobe space and drawers. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and give it 11 out of 10!"
