Great bunch of guys have stayed here a few times. They sorted out a taxi for from the airport to Colombo and then managed to get me back to the airport in time for my flight. Location is great and the room rate is very economical.

We stayed at Backpackers Villas for our first few days in Sri Lanka. We were welcomed by a lovely lady & the hotel caretaker was absolutely fantastic - he picked bunches of bananas for us every day! It is out of Colombo city, though there are loads of eateries within walking distance of the hotel. ...
A great place for a short stay. Really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic boutique guesthouse, wonderful staff. Large comfortable room, good hot water. Lovely simple plentiful breakfast. Cheap Uber or tuk tuk to all the sites. Highly recommended!

Although owner was very friendly helpful, I found the beds in the room very uncomfortable - really hard mattress and pillows and barely slept both nights so checked out early. The water pressure and lighting in the bathroom was very poor so struggled with brushing teeth and shower.
