"The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were also really nice and even did a wash load of clothes for us for $10. There was an appropriately sized television, toiletries, and unlimited tea and coffee by a kettle. in terms of the area it was down a street with rats, although there was rats everywhere in Colombo. The family were wonderfully friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, the 2 family dogs are a lovely touch for animal lovers and the villa is clean and quiet with great WiFi. Great hot water in the showers and a wonderful Sri Lankan breakfast is available on request. Would definitely stay again when back in Colombo."

The place needs renovation, WiFi doesn't work, cleaning in the shared bathrooms could be improved. But the location is great. So if you are looking for 1 night near the station - this would do."
