"The location is very convenient near to restaurants, grocery stores and business. Our room was clean."

"We checked into our room and went out after a few minutes to Foxwoods casino. When we returned at around 930pm we discovered we did not have a remote controll for our TV. They brought one to us. The refrigerator was not cleaned a ice mask was left in the freezer and the bathroom door did not close appropriately. There was no body wash in the shower. Our coffee maker has a layer or dust on top of it. Breakfast took about 20 minutes to be waited on and the pancakes i ordered were not served with the strawberries and powdered sugar as the menu read and it took 25 minutes or so for them to come out. The waiter never came back to check on us and instead of asking how everything was. He asked "if we were all set" no have a good day...nothing.... this was the worst experience we have had at this hotel. "

"The staff is wonderful Gaby, David and all front desk personnel. The housekeeping staff extremely helpful, respectful and from what I've observd throughout All my my stays slave-drivers workhorses. The manager is cordial but s far cry from his staff in way of professional hospitality industry team member. "

"I would have given this 5 stars except for the fact that there was only luke warm water in the showers and sink. The mattress and pillows were very, very comfortable. Also I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms and they were pretty busy."

"The “breakfast menu” like all available food, consists of packaged items (including yogurt and cut fruit) in a refrigerator case. It’s okay for a grab and go ( the urn for free coffee was empty) but not for a sit down and eat meal. Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. This is a good, clean, simple hotel that delivers comfortable beds at a reasonable price in downtown New Haven. No frills."
