Convenient to the Feinberg Medical School at Northwestern University. Very clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast is very good, with great variety of food choices..

This hotel was great overall, I was very pleased with my room. There were only two working elevators for most of the floors and it got annoying having to wait, hopefully they are working on fixing another one. It would be sometimes 10 min to wait for an elevator :/

The only negative remark would be that both the Homewood and Hampton Inn are now sharing the breakfast buffet area. It was very crowded. Ended up taking breakfast back to room on most mornings.

It takes 10-15 minutes to get around the hotel because of the elevators. There are only two functional elevators, and 40 floors of guests. We had to sit through many stops because there was not enough room on the elevators. The breakfast was awful. Legit jail food. And again, there are so many guests it was extremely crowded and took 10 minutes of waiting in lines just to get the jail food. Requested a roll of TP and literally never got it. It's not the absolute worst hotel, but it's definitely not the best. For as much as we paid we are super disappointed. Do yourself a favor and pick another hotel in Chicago.
