Hi, a really great hotel. I had called earlier to mention a late arrival. Although they initially charged, they quickly sorted out a refund when I arrived. The hotel room and bathroom were pristine. I had an issue with a padlock on my suitcase - it took a while for maintenance to attend but when they arrived it was sorted quickly. Great location - 6 mins walk to the metro station. I did not sample the breakfast/food but would highly recommend.

The hotel is clean, efficient but not memorable, but the staff were very courteous and efficient.

Great value property in a nice quiet part of DC. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. Just down the street was a fantastic BBQ restaurant if you didn’t fancy going into downtown Georgetown. Also, there was a fantastic bus service yards from the hotel that runs frequently and gets you to the main areas of DC and also connects to the Metro.

We found the breakfast team to be very hospitable and warm especially Mary S, Maria D and Lisbeth. The bar team are also good but they are rushed off their feet and therefore the service and cleaning areas suffer. The gym is adequate and superficially clean - it does the job. The front desk team we found that the more experienced member could actual help whereas the less experienced did not really help as they themselves were not to sure and were just googling like we were - whether this is a...

Chose this hotel as it offered the right facilities and was within walking distance to the local parkrun (Kensington). Very friendly staff, parking and very large rooms make for a wonderful trip.

Had an enjoyable stay here. Hotel was probably very grand back in the day, but was very clean, staff great. Beautiful gardens, lovely pool.

Friendly staff, comfy room, and nice area near the train station, metro and DC attractions. Next door is a proper pub that stays open after midnight, great to unwind in there with a couple of drinks before going to bed. If Im ever in DC again Ill look for a room here first

Very clean and handy for Silver Spring amenities. Staff in particular were very patient and attentive.

The staff was super friendly despite me only arriving just before midnight. The hotel is beautiful and quiet, even though it is so big and with so many rooms. The room was huge and clean and the breakfast was really good and included fresh fruit which seems a rarity across the US in hotels.

Cleanliness was perfect, staff very friendly and helpful. However, be aware if breakfast is not included in your price , the hotel charges a service charge as well as expecting you to tip the staff, which makes it very pricey. Also, you get charged lodging sales tax, destination fee sales tax and destination fee which at over 15% each is quite expensive. However, it is extremely well positioned for sightseeing and visiting the national monuments, and the metro station underneath is very handy

The staff at the hotel were exceptional could not help you any better.the food was first class and the restaurant was very nice the rooms were very clean and big.

Really enjoyed the ambience of this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and the rooftop bar was a great place to hang out and take in the views.
