"Second visit, great stay. Warm welcome by staff -at reception, breakfast and the leisure area, all very professional. Loved the breakfast buffet and setting, and enjoyed the use of leisure facilities. Plenty of parking, and great location to find. You do need a car/taxi if you plan to eat outside the hotel. Room was very comfortable, and we were complimentary upgraded to one with a view. If I was being really picky the one thing that would have improved the stay is a revamp on the jacuzzi - it was much colder temp than the pool itself, and the jets were poor - perhaps just need their nozzle directions adjusted. Other half loved the sauna and steam room whilst I was swimming."
Champneys Forest Mere
"The meal we had for dinner the sea bass with spring onions and supposedly with cauliflower purรฉe was terrible. The skin on the fish was not crisp, the onions were Pretty raw and there was no cauliflower purรฉe and it was very very greasy - would not recommend it. The hot water for breakfast to make tea was lukewarm."
Holiday Inn Portsmouth by IHG
"Room was very nice ,clean and comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. All went very smoothly"
Beachcroft Hotel, BW Signature Collection
"Good place, clientele was well over 50. Very quiet. No AC so can be warm at times but the sea breeze helps as does the fan. Classic English seaside experience"

"Could do with a freshen up but easy parking and pub with extensive menu attached"
The Burlington Hotel
"Great hotel on a moderate budget. Wonderful food but room was a little old fashioned and tired. Bar closes early so not great for evening chats/social time. Location was great for amenities and breakfast was great but terrible weak coffee and ยฃ4.50 extra for a proper cappuccino/latte."
