"The location is perfect, the suite was spacious, clean and comfortable (I believe ours was the “Luxury Jr Suite” with 2 doubles) and the staff was kind and always available. The Elevator closest to our room was broken at the time, the stairs were manageable even for us on the 4th floor and we were able to bring our luggage up to the 3rd floor on the working elevator but that is something to keep in mind. The breakfast was good- eggs, bacon, french toast, cereal, bagels, yogurt, etc. The hot tub is on the small side but we were able to get in on a night when most people were probably checking out, it was perfect for the 3 of us and very relaxing after a long day of exploring. There is a free trolly that stops within a short walking distance of the hotel, and the walk to Fishermans Wharf (and all of the shops and stops in between) was not bad at all. Overall we genuinely enjoyed our stay."

"Room was older but clean! Great location for the Big Sur Race as bus pick up was just a walk out our door and expo walking distance. Great food all around the hotel and they had a great coffee bar in the mornings and Water containers outside of rooms which was great ! Windows opened up and we had a fan.. never got too hot! Will stay again for sure !"

"The motel is old and basic but the rooms are very clean, the shower had adequate water pressure, friendly staff, coffee and water in the office, towels were good and walkable to downtown and wharf. Parking is safe even on the street. The only thing is elevator is a little musty but that’s minor. Comfortable stay and I really did not hear the other tenants in the rooms , so it was nice and peaceful."

"A romantic getaway is but a moment away. Great stay, nice location that’s close to Monterey excellent tourist sights. The Aquarium, Fisherman’s Wharf (“Domenico’s on the Wharf” Clam Chowder? Yes.) 17 Mile drive ( must see.) Pacific Grove, Carmel, Big Sur and points North; Santa Cruz, San Francisco- if you have the time. Big city to see in a day, so we hiked the 1.5hr trek 3 days. The room is quaint, hot az shower water, fireplace made the mood and vibes exponentially better. Rooms were clean, staff was readily available to assist with questions and concerns. My only real complaint was the Parking situation; a below deck that filled quickly and its “snug” although you can use the streets overnight. All n all I’m satisfied with my visit and hope you too will arrive to the same conclusion. Enjoy the beauty and wondrous tucked away jewell of the Central Coast."
