"Hotel room was excellent and much nicer than I had expected, with great ocean views. Breakfast was also impressive and included in the room rate. Hotel is located in a quiet area of the city with great access to public transportation. Definitely recommend staying there."

"Loved staying in this hotel! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel is located right in front of the beach. The walk to the Old Town of Cadiz is long so the best thing to do is to take the bus. The bus stop is right across the street from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this place"

"Great location for both the beach and the old town. Only €1.50 to hire a large beach towel was great as we had not packed one and decided to have a morning on the beach. Plenty of variety for breakfast"

Lovely breakfast, lots of choice. Friendly, helpful staff. We ate at both restaurants and the food was great. Bonus was two complimentary bottles of water in the room everyday. We stayed for seven nights and had a wonderful time.

We spent a long weekend in this beautiful, boutique hostal, although we think of it as a small and perfectly formed hotel. It is at the heart of the old town on a road with lots of nice eateries which makes it really easy to find a good place to eat either for lunch or dinner. It is also a short walk to the beautiful Los Bateles beach, five minutes down the hill and across the road. The hotel is spotless and feels airy and modern and beautifully decorated. The hotel was situated on the seafront which was a bonus. The hotel itself was very well maintained with really spacious rooms which were clean and equipped with all the necessary comforts. Lovely comfy bed. The addition of the sea view made this stay memorable. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely on my list for a return visit in the near future.

Excellent in all respects. Modern well designed hotel where everything works well. Pricing in cafe and bar reasonable and breakfast at 6 euros pp is wonderful.
A great experience.

We enjoyed our stay very much. All though there is no lift but I knew this when I booked. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they bent over backwards too make our stay enjoyable. Well done to them. Will certainly be staying there again.

Rota is a lovely old Spanish town with good facilities and interesting shops. There are plenty of bars and restaurants and the prices are generally lower than busier resorts. The hotel is in a prime location by the beach but also convenient for the old town. The room was large and well furnished and was spotless. The hotel has an excellent restaurant facing the beach and a very nice pool with sunbathing areas on two levels. Highly recommended.

Very good hotel, rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Generally food is good. The only downside is all rooms have a safe but to use it you have to pay 4.50 euros a day or 16.00 euros a week. Which I think is a liberty why have them??? Quiet a few people carry’s a back pack with them to the pool area with all their valuables. I think this hotel is run by Tui/Thompson Holidays so a lot of people are on package holidays.

Whilst the location of the hotel is approximately a 10 mins walk from the centre of the old town it is easily found and the hotel and staff were very good. Upon our arrival we were assisted with luggage and arrangements with a sherry tour details at Gonzales Byass; they telephones to check next timings for the English tour. We were advised on other sights and given restaurant recommendations; la cruz blanca we used twice and was very good; we were unable to try out the pool or breakfast but I...

Love this hotel! Been coming for many years and this time I brought my family with me, they also love it & want to return.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Anita, it was a nice touch that she remembered me. Our rooms were as requested, pleasant rooms all with a balcony and outdoor patio furniture. The bathrooms are a good size and well equipped.
