Beautiful spot right in the park. I enjoyed my views of it. Note that the pool is not heated & shaded for most of the day so is very cold in the cooler months. I think it still would have been lovely in June if we’d been in the sun.

A really decent central location, plenty of short-walking distance places to visit and shop at. The rooms were nice and clean with a good size shower and plenty of hot water for our party of 3. The buffet breakfast is a good solid start to the day affair and had some great fresh tropical fruits and juices to compliment the full buffet. The bar was a little dark and small, but had a decent range of drinks and cocktails. Overall a good place to base your stay in Brisbane for a few days.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel and highly recommend it. The service was welcoming and friendly. The decor is what attracted us to this unique place. It felt like we’d stepped back in time to another era. It is close to everything in the Brisbane city. We enjoyed our time here.

Lovely hotel with nice pool (which did not get a lot of sun owing to the tall surrounding buildings), restaurant and bar area. Just one suggestion with regard to the pool would be to have the pool towel collection/return box near to the entry gate.

Charming old-world style hotel with lovely restaurant and pool. Rooms were elegant with views over the botanic gardens. Each day began with coffee in the beautiful lounge bar followed by a stroll around the park across the road. Fantastic location. Staff were very friendly and professional. We were greeted with big smiles every time we passed through the foyer.

All staff we encountered were friendly. Rooms were clean comfortable, kids loved the pool. Only thing to mention is the safety bars at the pool are a little wobbly and the bathrooms look a little tired. We would definitely stay here again.

The property overlooks the park and is in a quiet location so no noise when trying to sleep. Great to walk into the park or go the other direction and hit the shops and restaurants. Room was good and the staff very friendly.
