would not recommend

the hotel room was small damp with mold . when we booked it said swim up bar which had closed down due to not renewing there alcohol liecence. the restarant close at 2.30 pm no Wi-Fi at advtised. and beds around pool were broken and rusty . never had the room cleaned once

Colonia Jose Menino Resort, South Goa

Location of hotel is very near to the beach and you can walk to the beach. But there is no recreational activities in beach, good for sunbath. There is no public vehicle available to this place. Taxi price is very high Rs. 60~70 per kilometer. This is the only option you have if you want to go somewhere. There is no room service Available. Rooms are big and clean. Restaurant in the resort serves good food but the options are limited or based on availability. In complimentary breakfast they serve bread toast, butter and jam, one glass can juice, tea/coffee. Other than this is chargeable. There is not much recreational activities in the resort.

Colonia Jose Menino Resort in Goa

I have never been to a more run down disgusting "hotel"!! The staff are completely disinterested in who you are and are very unwelcoming! (on checking out they gave me someone else's paperwork) the grounds of the hotel are dirty run down and falling to pieces! The view from my rooms balcony was of a crumbling part of the hotel! And the room itself was absolutely horrendous! There was mould and damp all over the one wall the fridge in the room was mouldy and rusty and the bathroom was repulsive! The shower curtain was also mouldy there were ants in the shower and the floor was wet as if someone had just used the shower?!! Needless to say we checked out 2hrs after checking in!! I strongly urge anyone DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place should be demolished!

I have stayed at CJM 8 times so did not expect too much, on saying that the " continental " breakfast has changed for the worse, go back to the other breakfast, PLEASE. Micheal in the resurant was his happy, very helpful self, alwas got us the toast when we arrived, because there was none, the other guests put it all in there bags? Denzel in reception was his usefull, cheerfull self , always ready to talk football. My room was cleaned when i requested, to some degree, but we had to ask for loo roll every day.
