We had a wonderful welcome back from Mihal, when we arrived early and left our luggage. And then at check-in, we were greeted by the amazing Simona and her colleague, Fiona, who were so friendly and helpful - a pleasure to meet and chat to. Our room was wonderful - huge and comfortable bed, espresso machine, very clean and we were very happy to have a fridge, too. Only area for improvement would be to have had drinks and snacks in the fridge that are suitable for vegans, but we weren’t expecting...

The hotel is great. Very clean and has an elevated contemporary feel for the price. Check in was phenomenal with a special shout out to Sam, who was fantastic. We ate in the restaurant and although the food was excellent and the staff really lovely, it was clear that they were very short staffed, as it took ages to order, I waited 30 minutes for my drink, and the food took a very long time to arrive. Stayed one night only ideal short bus ride to the music venue, could not fault the place. Bus stops right outside the hotel, a no brainier if you want to visit Brighton too!

Lovely birthday stay, complimentary drinks at the arrival, lovely top floor triple room. Bed was super comfy, didn’t want to get out. Great location as all the beach bars are across from the hotel.

Always a great location to the restaurant and bars, have stayed at the Ship a few times now and never disappoints.

I chose to stay here for two nights while I was visiting Glyndebourne. Carol and Ceri were so friendly and welcoming. They took such good care of me and made sure that I wanted for nothing. The room I was given was large and extremely comfortable with a private bathroom that overlooked the beautiful garden. Breakfast was always delicious and served in the conservatory. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Amazing stay and highly recommended! Clean rooms, excellent pool and gym. Restaurant was a bit pricey so decided to eat at a local place which was excellent

We arrived and we're greater by the most wonderful Vicky, with whom we hit it off straight away as she up graded us to a suite. It's little things like this which go along way, as the suite was the most opulent, most spacious room I have ever stayed in, it's sweeping viwes to date a lawn Ed tree-lined avenue showing up the splendour of the settings in which this stunning period hotels lies. We were directed to the bar and sampled their food menu. We sat outside opposite the orangery restaurant....

Host Nick was very helpful. Rooms nice and clean. Breakfast..there was plenty of choices. even for myself who was gluten-free and a cooked to order breakfast. Perfect.. will stay again

I chose this hotel as its connected to the terminal which makes an early check-in very quick and easy. The hotel has been renovated since i last stayed and is much nice, comfortable, specious room and a very nice bathroom. The service in the bars and restaurant was excellent and good food and drink at reasonable prices. Excellent relaxing stay.

Absolutely stunning, travelled with a dog and offered room service for breakfast. Superb customer service, stunning location, sea views, beautiful grounds. Super beds and room. The whole hotel oozes of care and attention to detail. Congratulations to all those who run it and make it such a superb place to stay in we will be back. Excellent stay, staff were so attentive. Good service, housekeeping cleanliness was great. Food at both restaurants was really nice.
