"We had tons of fun, even though it was super busy the staff was very organized and helpful. Our room was very clean and spacious and would definitely recommend for families with kids."

"The beach access and view are excellent. The staff was very friendly. The only problem was the carpets throughout the room. I was totally disappointed with the upkeep of those. They were dirty with spots throughout."

"It is always scary to choose a beach experience for the first time. Therefore, we really felt like we struck gold with The Ellie Resort. Beach view, cleanliness of room, food & drink options, helpfulness of staff, that magnificent pier — all exceeded our expectations. Only two suggestions: Free coffee in the lobby is a must for a hotel of this quality; and (traveling with a friend in a wheel chair), larger parking spaces that are better protected from the elements would be appreciated. With that said, however, we cannot wait to come back to Myrtle Beach, and, when we do, The Ellie will be our lodging choice! Jim Mitchell"
