Do be sure to try the Greenhead Tea Room, it's a great little place to grab some food or something warm to drink.

Brampton was a 15 minute drive, a lovely little market town with nice places to eat and shoos to get your essentials. Would highly recommend Gelt Woods for a woodland walk by the stunning river.
"Basic affordable accomodation. A bit tired but everything worked - great shower, TV, tea & coffee, hairdryer. There's a table tennis room for guests too, but we were too tired to give it a go sadly. A 15 minute walk from town centre."
"Hotel was very clean generally and room was also very clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Pool and jaccuzi is nice addition. Location is right in the middle of the city centre with loads of Restaurants nearby.."
"Overall lovely stay! Very peaceful and relaxing. We had a balcony with the best view of the lake! Amazing! The grounds were lovely also.
The man at the desk was very lovely, friendly and helpful.
However, they desperately need poo bag bins! It’s a great hotel for dogs and there were no restrictions, however there were no bins at all to put the poo bags which was very annoying. But apart from that no issues.
