"The rooms were charming, like a classy dorm room. Fun decor. Very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast, good variety. Staff was helpful and directed us to the nearby restaurant, 10% discount with room card, where the food and drinks were excellent. Took advantage of walking over to the Notre Dame campus. Beautiful walk, lots to explore."

"This is a great hotel if you are just interested in the room. Clean and comfy room. Quiet stay. Pet friendly. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the breakfast. I’ve stayed twice at this hotel and both times the oatmeal was dry and lumpy and the oranges old. I will probably stay here again but I will bring my own breakfast."

"The location was excellent and I think that is what you pay a lot for. The Hotel itself is tired and in need of renovations. The first room we were in, the toilet was not working and the staff did respond quickly and put us in another room with a working toilet. The continental breakfast was very scant and although breakfast sandwiches were mentioned by staff on checking in, other than toast, bagels and peanut butter and jam, nothing else. No hot portion like eggs or bacon or sausage. The bed was extremely comfortable though and had a good night sleep. And as I said, the location right downtown and walking distance to all downtown activities, amenities and restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking at the hotel. If not for the location though, I wouldn’t pay more than half the price of what I actually paid for this hotel. "
