Catalonia Hotel is well located within walking distance of Casa Battlo and Las Ramblas and some great restaurants.
The hotel still retains its newly refurbished feel ( done two years ago ). Having 78 bedrooms the hotel has a small hotel feel, but larger hotel facilities ( small gym, small pool and nice terrace its a good size and the bedroom.
The decoration of the hotel was superb in our view, with a modern but luxurious feel. We didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food, but free...

Easy to get about from the hotel on foot or Metro. Lots of restaurants nearby off main thoroughfare. Brilliant café called Mauri, excellent for breakfasts.

We stayed for 3 nights. Nice hotel, clean rooms, good location. Swimming pool is fantastic for the pre dinner dip after a long day. Cant fault it and walking distance to most things. Would happily go back again

Hotel went above what we expected, everything was perfect. Hosts were helpful and polite and cleanliness was exceptional. Will definitely stay there if again if staying in La Garriga.

We eventually found the hotel , a little bit confusing trying to navigate around the Plaza Catalunya and the various Metro exits. It is a haven of peace and tranquility amongst the hustle and bustle of the city.
The location is perfect for sightseeing excellent access to the metro and a bus service only 40 minutes to the airport leaving every 15 minutes.
We were able to extend our room until 3 pm on the last day which was great !!

Stunning set up with the whole interior of the 27 floors open to the outside with hanging gardens filling the whole space. The glass lift ride to the top is worth the price of the room alone. The room was super modern and very comfortable but the best part is the rooftop pool and bar with ample sun beds (though little shade) and the most incredible view of almost all of the city.

my fourth trip to Barcelona, having stayed in different hotels each time, to be fair all have been good.
Catalonia port is my favourite one so far , i will return here next time , friendly helpful staff , hotel very clean and comfortable .
hotel is in my favourite location - just off the bottom of la rambles, near the beautiful beach which is only about a 15 mins stroll along the harbour .
being so close to la ramblers ( approx 5 min stroll ) which is crammed with people and noise most of...

Airplane theme may not to be to everyones taste but I thought it quirky. Rooms are by location served by the airline. I stayed in Turin. 6th floor back of the hotel. Kept spotless all week. Modern style and plenty of storage. Bar was quiet and not overly expensive. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and location excellent only 10 minutes from Las ramblas. Subway station within 50 yards. Would stay there again no issue

Beautiful hotel, has a lot of culture to offer too due to it's museum link.
Great location, within walking distance to all the tourist hotspots and some lovely food outlets/cafes/restaurant/supermarket too!
Staff were fantastic - very helpful and slways greet you with a smile.
Room was lovely, great housekeeping too.

Lovely hotel, clean everyehere, good beds, helpful staff, breakfast was good with lots of choices. Evening meal in restaurant was relaxed and the shoulder of lamb was really good. Nice area, near a large indoor shopping centre. The hotel is 15 minute walk to nearest rail station. Then 45 minutes into Barcelona. Worth the journey so youre out of the busy Barcelona

Very nice hotel if you don't want to be in the busy city. Great hotel to unwind. Sea view room had exceptional views of Barcelona. Shuttle bus three times a day but last one back to hotel 16.30,so taxi is the only way home in the evening, varying in cost from 16 - 26 euros!! Staff very friendly & helpful, especially Patricia on front desk & Abel the concierge. Hotel expensive for drinks & food, I expect to pay more at 5*, however 19euros for a pizza & 5 euros for tea is rather steep,...
