Excellent stay in Bacalar. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the pool is great, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The front desk gave us great recommendations for activities. Having bicycles available was super convenient. The location is perfect, right near everything. We nearly booked a much more expensive hotel outside of town and are so glad we didn’t. Staying here was far more convenient and enjoyable. Will be back for sure.

We stayed 4 nights at Rancho Encantado and it was a totally unforgettable experience, in all the good ways! We had the privilege of staying in 2 different types of room during our stay - we were booked into a lake side cottage but the lovely Gerardo moved us to a Laguna Master Suite for two of the nights as there was a bit of construction going on, and we wanted to avoid the noise. The whole stay was wonderful, the hosts are very welcoming and amenable. You feel very welcome and are able to communicate with them easily. They offer great advise regarding the area. We booked a tour to go paddle boarding at sunset with monkey adventure bacalar though the hotel which was absolutely incredible. The room was very spacious, the kitchen had plenty of utensils. There were multiple communal outside areas and free filtered water. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend...
