"Hotel lovely staff great breakfast good however if you like a snack with your brew I.e.biscuits you need to bring your own as they don’t provide these. Tea and coffee facilities were good. "

"Clean, spotless room. Comfy bed. Lots of pillows. Bathroom a bit dated. Big TV. Very quiet apart from cars going past. Everything you need in the room. Couldn’t fault it, would stay again "

" Booked 2 twin rooms, but one room was made up as a double. Reported this to reception straight away. Said they would alter it by 7pm. Didn't happen. Reported to recetion in the morning and the room was set as a twin by the time we had returned that afternoon . And we were offered a bottle of fizz."

"Great room with access to lake, plenty of space and well proportioned - spa was good, but pool could be warmer ! Breakfast nice, but you need more coffee machines. Bar area nice and cocktails superb!"

"Lovely dog friendly stay - staff were all super helpful, friendly and accommodating and the whole place was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Delicious food, both dinner and breakfast, great selection and all arrived piping hot, well presented and 'just right' in terms of timing between ordering and delivery. A couple of constructive points / minor areas for improvement - the pillows were exceptionally firm, the pathway to our room would benefit from additional low level lighting (particularly around the step area) and it would be nice if there was a small area of grass on site to allow 'resident dogs' to relieve themselves. All in all though this did not detract from what was a lovely overnight break :)"
