"One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Spacious, comfortable room. Great breakfast. Had the best steak I’ve had in ages at Lamberts Restaurant. Terrific view over the city from the Eagles Nest, enjoyed with a cold beer. Five minute walk to get the ferry into the city (50 cents per trip), or a 15 minute stroll across the Kangaroo Point bridge. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough, and would stay again in an instant. "

"It's a charming property but is now dated. The staff are wonderful and the location is ideal with the botanical gardens right across the road. Every Sunday there's a wonderful market in the botanical gardens 😀 "
