"Check in was fast and efficient, staff at check in were nice and professional. Room is very worn out and needs to be freshened up. Looks like walls have had damage and been patched up in the living room. The wall in the hallway needs a clean as there are wet marks on there, almost like they haven’t been wiped down properly. Could feel the middle part of the mattress where the two mattresses connect. Damage to the table out on the balcony. Not sure if the door on the shower was damaged and a shower curtain has been put on. Location of hotel is good. "

"I was looking for a hotel close to Roma Street station in Brisbane, as I was making a train journey down to Wauchope two days later. I had never heard of Meriton Suites as I’d never travelled to Australia before, but the came up on my comparison site several times. All the reviews I read gave excellent reports, and although a little more expensive than I planned for, I thought I’d take the chance. I’m so glad I did, it was an amazing stay, superb facilities, exceptionally clean, and really close to the station, although not a train could be heard! Staff were so friendly, and room/suite very well equipped. Green approach which I like, and a 24 hour desk. So good, I’ve booked with them directly for my stay in Sydney. Really glad I found Meriton Suites, and happy to recommend - EXCELLENT!"

"Pleasant enough stay and the staff were all lovely but the hotel room we had is in desperate need of a proper deep clean. There were stains on every surface in the room including the ceiling. Disappointing as would expect more from an IHG hotel."

"The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. The only probelm was the curtains didnt close all the way and let a lot of the light in from neighbouring hotel/attractions. There was also very loud noise coming from the resistance next door until 12. mid.ight and some work from possible machinery in the alley down from my window. I was on the 6th floor. I didnt get a great sleep."

"Completely mis-represented in the photos on Wotif. Reception staff very unhelpful, borderline rude. Parking was an extra $100 on top of the room cost for one night. Window looks straight into a mens bathroom in adjacent building. Do not recommend."
