OK, but best suited for young, healthy, vigorous people, ideally with some mountain climbing experience. I say that because immediately upon entering the hotel, you are confronted by a immense set of steep stairs. So steep are they that you'll need to hold on to the rail for dear life which means that with only one free hand you'll need to make a trip up and down the stairs for each and every item of luggage. If you're old and decrepit like me or under the influence, it can be a bit treacherous. I know this is typical in old Dutch buildings, but be forewarned. Also, my room faced some sort of party club across the street so that there was a lot of noise outside my window Friday and Saturday from evening until early in the morning. Staff was very nice and accommodating and the location right on Rembrandtplein near a tram stop is excellent.
