We stayed at the Corendon for a 3 night trip to Amsterdam. Pluses - (1) Well connected to Metro / tram / bus / train service making travel in and out of Amsterdam good. (2) Comfortable beds and large modern rooms with wet rooms (3) Great breakfasts Minuses (1) Evening restaurant chaotic and not functioning well (2) No other cafes / restaurants in immediate vicinity (3) Generally wifi (both before and during) signals unsafe because not using correct protocols on servers (4) You have to pay a supplement to use swimming pool & Gym (which is normally included free at other hotels & rooms not inexpensive)

This is my second stay in this hotel and I will continue to come back when I visit Amsterdam. I adore the vibe of the hotel and it feels clean and is welcoming. The staff are all lovely and efficient!

Been abroad to 10 different countries now and have never come across such friendly and helpful staff. Between that and the very easy to use Metro that is within walking distance away, I would definitely stop at this hotel again.

Quiet with easy access to metro and tram. Cleanliness of room was acceptable but upon arrival one of the blankets smelled like wet dirty socks but housekeeping brought up a replacement. Found a balloon under the bed and shower could have used a good scrubbing as there was pink slime/mildew on the floor at the hinge of the shower door. Was wiping up water and saw the color on the tissues. After first night cleaning staff forgot to restock Kleenex and toilet paper but overall a good stay. Front desk staff checking us in were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good and staff during breakfast time were friendly and service oriented, stars for this. Lots of choices for breakfast items so thumbs up here. Would have been great to have option for room service after 11pm as there is limited options for food in the area.

Very disappointed with this hotel and the hospitality of this hotel. Firstly the hotel is in the middle of now where , only a metro link to use where you had to travel out to go to a place. The only tiniest supermarket is like 15 mins away by walking also in the middle of nowhere. Had to pay £28 on arrival to check in which wasnt stated anywhere and like we didn’t enough for the hotel. You also have to pay for the spa which is 19 euros even though you’re a hotel guest which doesn’t make sense it’s a spa hotel but spa isn’t included. There was no refreshments , snacks, vending machines or even water to have which is very poor because there wasn’t even any shops nearby. They had room service but options was limited as it was only like bread and soup and you have to pay extra 7 euros for it to be delivered to you’re room so what’s the point of that. They had a ‘Caribbean’ styled restaurant which had no aspect of the Caribbean at all. Food was overpriced and not Caribbean themed at all. Only nice thing was the drinks. There’s no windows in the hotel rooms which is surprising so you can’t get any air and as there’s no refreshments to have it for stuffy. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night which was scary. The staff wasn’t the most friendly. They just chatted amongst themselves all the time , laughed and starred at us most of the time. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to be honest
