We enjoyed out short stay (3 nights) at the Eden very much. The staff were very helpful and all interactions with them. Always plenty to eat for breakfast to set us up for the day, and a well-stock mini-mart in the hotel for snacks and drinks. We woudl be happy to stay here again on our next visit.

Staff were very accommodating although we arrived early in the morning we were able to check in into one ofur rooms. Breakfast was great value with decent selection and options. We got great advise for restaurants, tours, etc. I would recommend that guests opt for canal view as our rooms didn’t have much of a view. All in all we had a great stay and experience and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in our next trip to Amsterdam

Wonderful location - if felt like everything was within a 20 minute walk and the tram stopped right outside if I didn’t want to. The staff was so incredibly friendly - especially Maria, who checked me in and helped me bring my bags to my room. I would love to stay here again.

It’s an old chocolate factory overlooking the canal and the room we had was wonderful three open windows unobstructed views . It wasn’t large long and narrow and the bathroom was very tiny shower not big enough for a large person at all and the design is poor but we loved staying there here regardless

The place was really beautiful, clean, the staff is amazing! very nice and told us a couple of suggestions that were great. The place is right across the canal and very well located. we were able to walk everywhere with no problem. it is very close to the opera building and the Ice Bar. Their breakfast was very nice as well. Totally recommended it to everyone!

I stayed here a few years ago and it has had a full renovation. The bar/restaurant is nice, checkin was easy and the staff very helpful. There is a self-service snack and drink shop which was also handy. My room was a ‘small double’ and it was very small but very clean and comfortable. The hotel is well placed and an easy walk to Centraal Station and the town centre and also south to the museum quarter.

Standard rooms equal matchbox sized rooms, the smallest bathrooms where you can't turn around. We were moved twice. First, we entered a cave-like room with a typed letter of apology for the view (which were loud industrial pipes outside the room). Then, we were moved to a room that smelled of smoke and mold and there was mold all over the bathroom. Outside, cats would fight and dogs would bark. So after that we requested to upgrade and they said no upgrade was available. We should have left the hotel. But trying to remain reasonable, we moved to another room. On our last night, we ended up having to call security because someone was attempting to kick the neighbor's door down, yelling, and then shouldering the door to try to get into the room. I could see it all through the peephole. As I was whispering, calling security for help, it took them 15 minutes, and by then, the person was gone. Didn't sleep at all that night. It isn't a quiet hotel, you will hear people in the hall, above you, around you, outside - and maybe this is just the standard room experience. Which was our mistake. We should have left when expedia offered to refund us and went elsewhere. Everything is easy to get to, regardless of where you are. So this location isn't key to your experience at all. Buyer beware.
