"Our room was a sauna. I complained. I asked for maintenance to adjust the temp and nothing happened. We shifted rooms. I asked for an adjustment (or future credit). I’ve heard nothing from management. The staff was helpful and friendly but without any power to do anything. It was unbearably hot our first night and frustrating to shift rooms for night 2 of a 2 night stay costing nearly $1,000."

"It's an old property with tight parking. The room had a thermostat that doesn't work and the heater runs constantly making it too hot. The shower water is spotty and changes temperature at random, the fan in the bathroom doesn't work, the towel rack was falling out of the wall and the window doesn't have a screen which I imagine being a problem when bugs are around. Saving grace is the breakfast which is fresh and tasty. "

"Parking is available but $20 a night (that was not reveled in description of available parking). Breakfast is minimal but no toaster to toast a bagel or slice of bread. There is a pancake maker. The bathroom could use a spruce up and the hallway paint. Very minimal. All in all Priced a little more that i would think. but with the cost of gas we chose not to go out on the island further. The surrounding area is beautiful. A park down the street is Well maintained and friendly."

"The hotel was decent and the room was clean. My only complaint is the water pressure was TRASH!!! You’d never understand how important good water pressure is until your in a shower and the water is basically trickling out. "

The lack of professionalism continued at checkout; when I returned my keys, I wasn't acknowledged at all—no 'goodbye' or 'thank you.' The staff seemed more interested in their phones than the guests. Better customer service is definitely needed.""
