When we arrived around 5 pm our room was not ready and we had to sit in lobby and wait for over 30 minutes. Not the way we expected to be greeted after a very long and trying journey. Also the area around the pool was filthy. This is not the first time I had a bad experience with a hampton stay. When we entered the hampton we reserved in nashville a few years back the bathroom was disgusting with urine and fecal matter on the bathroom floor. When i complained i was given points and to this day i never received any sort of discount or compensation for my disappointing experiences. My family generally prefers staying at the hampton hotels but given that no effort has been made to rectify my my situation may reconsider a future stays

When I reserved this hotel, I did a search filter for "airport shuttle". Our trip continues with our final flight in 12 hours and we have a 92 year old wheelchair user traveling with us. It When I called for a shuttle last night I was informed they don't have a shuttle. We ended up spending $130 for an Uber ride to the hotel. Now we have to get back to the airport again to catch our flight home. A very expensive night in New York for a shower and 6 hour nap.

The lady at the front desk when i was extending my stay was inattentive, charged me 3 x in error and I questioned why she would need my card again. she said it didnt go through which was not true and I explained i already paid for it on expedia and gave her my confirmation number. They never cleaned the room - there was no sign on the door that said do not come in. The bathroom toilet was sluggish and would not go down. Now i get home and there are 3 charges for the hampton inn that should not be there and I am on the phone over 30 minutes and amd not convinced this is corrected. NEVER NEVER STAY THERE
