"Apple Orchard was doing some renovations and construction when I stayed there but I still had a very comfortable stay. It is a great place to acclimatize because it is lower altitude than Leh, so I went straight to Ulleytokpo after flying to Leh. They had delicious healthy food and a comfortable room. "The hotel is located on the Indus River. The rooms have balconies to view the river. My room was at the lowest ground level so there was no view. The hotel has not arranged any drivers in the area so if you do not have your own transportation, then you’re stuck with no options. The area is scenic but without transportation it’s a challenge.
