"Only stayed 72 hours on this beautiful island and in this beautiful village, regretfully, and couldn’t ask for better accommodations or a more gracious hostess. Ellie is really a goodwill ambassador to all the Galapagos. She actually walked me down to the water taxis for access to Las Grietas. Each day, breakfast was different and delicious. I will truly miss Casa Fragata."

"Great room, helpful staff WHEN they were available. Front desk closes at 6:30. I had told them beforehand that I would arrive around 7. My boat into town was half an hour late. I got a message on Whatsapp at 6:57 that the desk would close at 7. I arrived about 7:30 and someone did come back to check me in. Then about an hour later I managed to lock myself out of my room (I know, I know). I messaged and in about 5 minutes, I got a response that they would return in about an hour and some minutes....

"This is a $40 a night property. It is beyond expectations, clean, private bathroom, daily room service, WiFi,refrigerator in the room. You can get water and fill your empty bottles from the owner. Be aware this is not a hostel but a small hotel. I see reviews of people complaining about these sort of places. They think they should get the ritz Carlton. It is also just 2 blocks away from the central square where the taxi let me off from the airport"

"We (family of 3) stayed for 4 nights in the tortuga bay suite. So I can only speak for the room we stayed and not sure how other rooms are as they are all different. Overall, we are very disappointed and feel frustrated on our stay. The room looks nothing like the pictures. It is very small, dark, damp and hot with little space for luggages. "This hotel is located right next to “restaurant row” which is a street with many dining options and geared mostly toward the tourists. The hotel A/C and Wi-Fi worked well, and I had a comfortable night here. There is a motion sensor hall light that shines into the room through the top windows and some noise as they walk by.
