"It always beats me why the Taj Lands End doesn’t follow standard practice for checking out. Instead of using the same desks for check-in and check-out, like all hotels the world over, they refuse to check you out at the check in desks, even when they’re all free. Instead they force you to a undermanned, inefficient, and poorly organized desk where you’re forced to wait, all the while eyeing longingly the many available desks at the check-in counters. Please, please, see the light!"

"The property is gorgeous, my room was lovely and the staff was very welcoming to a tired and jet lagged traveler. Upon arrival I had no rupees and while the hotel does not have an ATM they kindly helped me to go to the property across the street to use the ATM. The staff also helped secure prepaid taxis to get around the city. The location is very close to the airport, just a few minutes by taxi. "Overall a very nice hotel! But at the highest level it lacks certain finer things. One weird thing is its location of its two elevators. Given the expanse / layout of the structure there should have elevators on both ends. It is almost a long rectangular building. So if your room happens to be on the far end it can be a walk particularly for elderly or someone with a disability! That’s one downside of this otherwise beautiful property "
