I have to say, this experience exceeded all my expectations: (online) communication with Margie was pleasant, precise, and prompt; surprising number amenities were included; location was central and accessible; accommodations were very well-maintained, clean, hospitable, safe and quiet. We even had a charming private terrace in the back. The price was extremely competitive. Would definitely use again. In fact, I can't imagine staying anywhere...

"It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do! Great area, and lots of restaurants, bars and shopping! Aswell as the government buildings. Bus ride away from the can tower and other view points "

"A very nice heritage spot with easy access to the rest of Toronto. Room was nice enough, with a mini fridge, microwave, utensils etc. The King size bed was made up of two beds pushed together. I could connect to the wifi easily however it was actually not usable on the first floor because of the horrible speeds. All in all a good stay and I would recommend it. "

"Hotel was undergoing renovations so they transferred my reservation to the St James Hotel at 26 Gerrard St E. This hotel was excellent. Would stay there again. Not sure about Econolodge. Hence the OK ratings."
