“Excellent funky hotel”

Brilliant hotel in a nice neighbourhood, the diner next to the hotel does fabulous blueberry pancakes. The room was small but well laid out and the bed was huge.

“Makes a great base for a visit to new york”

This was my first trip to new york and from entering the lobby and being greeted by helpful doormen, friendly staff and live piano music...the hotel does its best to impress. If you are in new york to see the city, the hotel is excellently placed for a leisurely walk through the park and on to the large number of museums...and is a quick cab rid to the main broadway theatres and also to the empire state building...or if you fancy walking off a large meal from the italian restaurant carmines, forget the cab and its about a 40 minute walk.

“The perfect hotel!! Really couldnt ask for much better!”

The hotel is located on 77th and Broadway which is seconds away from the 79th street Subway which takes you directly to Times Square and 5th Ave etc. Its also a 5 minute walk away from the beautiful Central Park. The hotel is so well located in fact that you get a real feel of NYC, whilst at the same time still being extremely close to everything going on. The hotel is very friendly, clean, well maintained, modern and very, very comfy! All the staff were eager to help, and the concierge woman were soooooo nice and helpful! We wanted to go and see the Yankees play, and the concierge said she would sort it out for us. About an hour later i got a phone call to let us know she had got us tickets. We later found out that we had got the tickets at Match Day price, and the seats were superb!! We couldnt have got any better!! Superb. They also constantly helped us with directions, giving us maps and directions and advice. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was stunning, great room, air con, big shower, big ass TV!! which me being a guy, i LOVED! The bed was comfiest bed we had ever slept in... seriously! So big and nice! Overall, a gem of a hotel! The day i got back i started saving to go back... and im definitely staying at this brilliant hotel!

“Would definitely recommend.”

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in this hotel. Everything was perfect, check-in went smoothly, lovely clean room, comfy bed etc etc. The neighbourhood is really great, some wonderful places to eat. We are so glad that we didn't stay near Time Square and we quite enjoyed the walk back to the hotel each day. The only downside was that the room was very noisy (no. 718) there appears to be no double glazing in the room!! There is constant traffic noise but you are in NY and that is no criticism of the hotel!! Would definitely stay there again.

“Excellent, Excellent, Excellent”

An excellent hotel. As it was our first anniversary we asked for an upgrade and the staff were more than happy to. Very Clean rooms with excellent TV`s, staff very friendly and breakfasts at the diner across the road were to die for. Excellent location and near Subway.

“A warm retreat on a cold day”

We stayed at this Hotel in February when the temp was rarely above freezing. It snowed and rained for 2 of the 5 days of our stay. The Hotel was warm and we were able to dry our clothes without any problems. The Hotel was close to the Subway and there were plenty of places to eat nearby so we did not need to stray far after a day exploring the city for our evening meal. The rooms were comfortable and provided all we needed.

“Fantastic Hotel”

Brilliant location exceptionally convienent being so clos to a nuber of subway lines, central park and a number of museums. The hotel staff were extremely fiendly and helpful. The room was a great size with a unbeleivably big tv very clean and well equiped. Would gladdly recomend a stay here.

“Hotel Review”

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for five days. It is in an excellent location, close to central park, and just off broadway. The subway is 2 blocks away on 79th st or you can walk to 72nd. The area is lovely, lots of good shops, restaurants and bars. Our hotel room was lovely, massive bed, good sized room for NYC. Would definitely stay again. They are actually expanding the hotel so there will be better facilities available to guests i.e. bar./restaurant, gym etc

“Brilliant!!”

We would definitely recommend this hotel!! We stayed in a superior room, very confortable...the bed was HUGE!! Good location, short walk from Central Park and subway close which runs by Times Sq and goes to South Ferry!! Very nice neighbourhood!!

“Great Hotel, If I went back to New York I would stay there again”

The hotel was fab, clean and bed very comfortable, the room wasn't large and didn't have a view but that didn't matter as it had everything you needed, the shower was excellent. The area was very convienient and very safe. 30 Min walk to Time Square, 2 Min to nearest sub way and 10 Min to central park. Would not hesitate to go back
