“What a view?”

We were given a room on the 34th floor facing downtown and that view alone was worth the overall 5. The rooms were a bit tired looking but I could not have cared any less with the view. The pool on the 27th is lovely and the view from the 2 gym areas uptown was also amazing. If you want to play tennis its $100 per hour!!! No complaints regarding the staff although did enquire about tickets for the Harlem Globetrotters at concierge but was put off by the nearly $50 broker fee.

“Great place to stay”

spent 5 nights here and it was great. Had a view to the UN building, East River, Empire State and Chrysler Building. Just amazing. There's a great cafe called John's about 5mins walk which is full of locals and good food. OK the hotel is in a quiet part of Manhatten but 10min walk to Grand Central and anywhere is in reach.No hesitations in recommending this place, but could be busy when the UN is in session. Room was big by NYC standards, cleaned every day with fresh linen if required

“Good quiet location”

Not too far from main attractions, 10 minutes from Grand Central Station. Would certainly use this hotel again, stunning views from 30th floor room, looking over East River. Had breakfast at Cosi restaurant-block away, free wifi!

“Spectacular views”

My wife and I booked the standard room but asked for free upgrade on arrival, which they had available to are luck.We had the corner suit on the 38th floor views across the east river and manhatton truely amazing!!Food and drink very expensive in hotel especially room service,but dont let this put you off,as plenty places elsewhere to go.

Very impressed with the hotel and the rooms. We stayed in the East Tower which had phenomenal views of the City and Hudson River. The location was perfect 20 min walk to Central Park, 15 min walk Times Square. Quiet street very safe and good local eateries. Highly recommended.

“fantastic would definately stay here again”

we went to n y for our annual girlie holiday we stayed 9 nts good location absolutely stunning views laying in bed we ahd fantastic views of the empire state and chrysler buildings not bad eh 38 floors we were on 36 room 3627 would ask for this room again didn't use the pool much but it was really good to have it there hotel staff very good eagre to please dont pay too much attention to the bad reviews lovely clean hotel could maybe do with a liitle decoration soon but we couldn't fault it

“Wonderful hotel”

This hotel was excellent, cannot fault it in any way. It was on quieter East side but was within easy access for walking, buses, trains and plenty of taxi's. Room was lovely -clean and well maintained with brilliant views. Staff were helpful and friendly and hotel facilites were excellent. We had a lovely stay and a wonderful holiday - wouldnt hesitate to go back!

My girlfriend and I stayed in the city for 7 nights and chose this hotel mainly based on the reviews here! The hotel is great. The rooms are fantastic - very spacious, clean and offer some great views!

“Would definitely use this hotyel again”

This hotel is a great base for a stay in New York if you don't mind some walking (or of course hopping in a yellow cab!). The hotel was perfect for us. Only a few minutes walk from Grand Central Station and plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. The staff could not have been more helpful, especially reception and the concierge. If you want to be in Midtown and don't want the noise of Times Square - this is the place for you. Hotel was quiet at night and we got a great nights sleep in the huge comfy bed. We will use this hotel again next time we come to New York.

“Would book this hotel again”

We stayed at the hotel on our way to Orlando and on our return. We were put in the traditional wing on our way out, which we all prefered and then the moderen wing on the way back,the view's from both room were great,if we went back we would not hesitate to book this hotel.All staff inside the hotel and the outside staff were most helpful,also the security of the hotel was very good.
