Nice location for downtown events and places. Rooms bigger than boutique hotels. Happily they got a new elevator. 24 hour front desk presence. No safe in room but there are boxes in the office. Overall, a nice place for a good price.

This hotel is located is such a great spot between 6th and 7th. It is easily walkable to so many destinations and when it is too far, there is a subway entrance within a block. The staff are very friendly and accommodating-I cannot say enough about how generous the staff is with their thoughtfulness. The rooms are small but a good size for NYC and the rooms were clean. The hotel itself needs some updating--like our tub could use resurfacing but it is not a big deal. I prefer to use a hotel in NYC for sleeping between destinations. I also appreciate the security at the hotel.
