“Fantastic Hotel!”
Absolutely fantastic hotel away from the bustle of the most touristy areas in Manhattan. I spent an awesome weekend here in April and couldn't have been happier with choosing this hotel as a birthday treat. The staff were fantastic, including recommending and booking me a hairdresser appointment for a dinner I had in the evening, the architecture and style of the hotel is just phenomenal and my room was incredibly modern and stylish, and of an extremely generous size by New York's standards. The hotel is right by the river with beautiful promenades next to it. If you want to treat yourself to 5 star, I couldn't recommend it enough.
“Stylish and Spacious Conrad”
Superb hotel at a great price! Spacious, modern and scrupulously clean suites with huge comfortable beds, phenomenal rainfall showers and fabulous communal spaces. Being in the financial district, it's a great haven from the hustle and bustle of midtown but only a 3-4 minute walk from the subway for easy, direct access to Times Square. The hotel complex has a variety of decent quality restaurants (the pizza at Harry's is superb!) as well as an 11 screen cinema. The staff are professional and businesslike but never less than completely accommodating. Overall, easily the best Manhattan hotel I've ever stayed in.
“The best place on Manhattan!”
Fantastic place to stay in NYC. Great location with access to river walks... We would definitely recommend river view suite. The staff's attention to detail is immense. My husband celebrated his birthday while staying in NY and the staff left him an amazing and delicious birthday cake in our room as a surprise. We are definitely staying in Conrad when we are back in NYC.
“Superb luxurious hotel”
Wonderful upmarket hotel. Hotel staff very friendly. Newly opened hotel with modern reception and very up-to-date well equipped and comfortable rooms
“Great hotel and not just for business!”
An excellent hotel in a vibrant part of New York with easy access to the main attractions.
“Fantastic new hotel”
Fantastic brand new hotel. Unlike most NYC hotels its spacious. Our room was a king deluxe but like a personal apartment. It's not central but worth being away from the noise and crowds. You're right in battery park and less than 10 minutes walk from subway. Best city hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in many!
“Really nice hotel - does not disappoint”
My partner and I stayed at the Conrad New York in February for 4 nights after a friend recommended it. It did not disapoint! The location of the hotel itself is great, really easy to access from JFK, quiet but still really close to lovely bars and restaurants in Tribeca. Before our trip I contacted the hotel and requested the sheets to be hypoallergenic which they made sure happened - they also got back to me very quickly which is great! When we arrived, we were given a map of Manhattan and told about local restaurants which was very helpful as this was our first time in NYC. In the morning we asked the lovely staff at the front desk if they could recommend any good breakfast places which they did and we ended up having an amazing breakfast which was one of the highlights of our trip! The room itself was really nice, with a sitting room as well which was much larger than we expected. My only quip with the room is that the air conditioning was quite loud and a bit difficult to get right. It was very cold in Manhattan so in order to keep the room nice and toasty, we had to have the air con on most of the night with a constant fan noise. But I still managed to get 4 good nights of sleep. On our last day in NYC, our flight wasn't until 10pm so they gave us a late check out (which is 2pm without charge, any later they would charge you) and then held onto our luggage until we were ready to leave free of charge. I would definitely stay at the Conrad again :)
“Doormen”
The two doormen were excellent very eager to help with luggage or getting you a taxi or airport transport when you more luggage than a taxi will hold
“How to relax in New York...”
Great stay! Luxurious and spacious, zen atmosphere, amazing lobby and views, reasonably priced, interesting neighbourhood worth exploring and only a subway ride away from the rest of Manhattan.
“Great experience”
Excellent room, great location, very relaxing, helpful staff
