Very good location for my purposePosted 19-Oct-2013
Pros: Efficient and courteous.
Cons: I think it presents itself as a corporate hotel and has no pretentions.
Location: For my art gallery and auction house purposes, perfect location.
Was in London for Frieze art fairs at Regents Park and to go to Sotheby's and Christies and art galleries, mso location was excellent. Hotel staff very nice and professional. Classic room was small but had bathtub., which was great.

Mayfair Hotel convenient for the West EndPosted 02-Sep-2013
Pros: Location and price. the staff were good.
Cons: The hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment if is is to compete with the new generation of 5 star hotels in Europes real capital.
A tired hotel that has seen better days and is slipping behind others in the area.

A bit disappointingPosted 05-Aug-2013
Cons: service and quality of staff
Location: Excellent location to every amenity within walking distance
I had booked a double room for a two night stay. When I arrived on the friday evening I was presented with a twin room which was not appropriate. Despite my insistence to change the room, it was eventually changed. The stay was fine after the initial issue, the hotel concierge were friendly but the reception staff were condescending and ambivalent. Considering this was a large hotel, staff were thin on the ground. Not what to expect from a hotel of this grade.

Pros: two bedrooms rooms were very nice and comfortable
Cons: some of the service staff talk too much and do little
Location: relatively close to palace, and other government offices, a bit far to other tourist attraction.
excellent hotel to get an upgrade, no lobby, no reception, tight space and slow elevators.

Amazing London HotelPosted 09-Jul-2013
Pros: The staff, the room service, the breakfast, the location, the bathroom. Pretty much everything.
Cons: The air conditioning system.
Location: Whatever you want to do in London, this hotel is within walking distances.
Amazing staff, amazing staff, amazing staff, very clean, comfortable and spacious room and a very nice breakfast. You can't get any better than this. Walking distances to pretty much everywhere in London.

The quality of this hotel is not 5 star!Posted 01-Jul-2013
Cons: bedroom size/quality of beds and pillows/quality of cleaning. Poor customer service!
Location: The location was very central and easy to walk to many of the attractions and shops.
This booking was to be a 5* hotel, offering luxury in a deluxe double room? This was not a 5* room – the bedroom was very very small – with limited space around the tiny double bed. The bed sunk and was very much past its best. The pillows were poor quality and there were not any spare in the room. The carpets in the room were badly stained and when we arrived there was a cigarette end on the carpet! The bathroom had very restricted space – the position of the sink by the door made it very difficult to move around – the shower was over the bath with no safety bath mat or rail to hold onto to get into the bath. The tiles were very dirty and the grouting was filthy. I could not have a bath in this! There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room and whilst you could call room service I wanted to be able to make tea when I am up some mornings very early around 3,4am. What 5* hotel does not have this in the room???? The lock on the door was faulty and we could not lock our room. I did not feel safe. We also had a hoover located outside the bedroom for the whole period we stayed. The lifts in the hotel were not reliable and constantly out of use – we even had to use the staff service lift on 2 occasions I went to reception to report this and advise the room all round was very poor and I was not happy and the receptionist offered no reply?
