Pros: Internet search
Location: Close to Waterloo. Walking distance to London eye, London Bridge/shopping area.
I stayed here for 2 nights before my business meeting. It is close to Southwark and London Bridge subway station. The hotel room is clean and in the quite area.

Great location

Friendly staff. Radiator in bathroom faulty. Great facilities for those with mobility problems within the hotel. Unfortunately access to the building at the back of the hotel. Great location for Tate Modern & Shard. Restaurants & bars nearby.

Good location but on a noisy road

Posted 24-Mar-2014
Pros: Modern, spacious room
Cons: Bathroom cleanliness and noise proofing from the traffic if possible
Location: Borough markets easily accessible, would also make a good location for business workers.
When we arrived at the hotel there was no obvious reception area, a girl in a perceived smart dress had her back to us and appeared to be serving two people. She then advised us to take a seat and in the meantime another couple arrived whereby we were forgotton and served after. The hotel itself is very modern and the room spacious however with the room being directly on the main road was very noisy. I am sure that this wouldnt be the case for all rooms but perhaps some further sound proofing should be considered. All in all a pleasant stay but I would probably choose another hotel next time.

Great hotel, close to the Shard

Posted 18-Mar-2014
Pros: Locality
Cons: This is nit picking. Air conditioning a little noisy , and blind at window did not quite fully close. But very minor did not detract from visit.
Location: Close to the Shard, walking distance and to the Millenium Bridge. We walked from hotel to St Pauls with no problem
Hotel gives easy access to the Shard and is 10 minutes away from the millennium Bridge. Rooms a fair size , very clean. Staff very helpful . Short walk to London bridge underground and Borough market.

Fantastic hotel, in great location.

Posted 18-Feb-2014
My girlfriend and I went for a short weekend break to see the sights of London. This excellent hotel is in prime location for the underground, trains, buses, and all London attractions. With fantastic staff and superb views from the balcony of the room we stayed in we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Nice hotel in very good location

Posted 12-Feb-2014
Pros: Overall experience was very good.
Cons: I think the king size was a hotel king size which also seem a little smaller.
Location: Good location central to the Southwark district
Lovely relaxed atmosphere with helpful staff. Room was contemporary and clean. Especially quiet which was a nice change from normal doors banging at all hours. Look forward to staying again.

Visting London as a trourist

Posted 16-Jan-2014
Pros: Nice bar lounge area and reception with welcoming staff.
Cons: Not much for the type of hotel.
Location: Getting onto the riverside was easy and we loved being able to walk (you see so much) to the theatres and back.
My friend and I visited London for 3 nights as trourists for a change and stayed at the Mercure London Bridge. We were very comfortable in our room and the staff were helpful whenever we made enquiries about how things worked and where to go to get to places. I was travelling with a lot of large luggage which made the room cramped, for anyone with only one suitcase per person the room size would not be such an issue. We had a cheaper room and the bathroom was compact, but everything worked out okay. It seemed a long walk with lots of luggage from London Bridge station and then later to Southwark tube, but with on bag I would say it would be easy.

London Bridge is not falling down

Posted 14-Jan-2014
Pros: Great hotel. Great people and food.
Cons: Don't put two people in a room for ONE.
Location: National Theatre, Globe Theatre, London Eye, National Portrait Gallery, The Tate Modern one block away
Great hotel in a great location. Great new renovations for common spaces in lobby. They put me in a very small room. I asked for a change...they gave me the same size room with a slightly larger bathroom. This is my third time there. I will be more careful about requesting room size next time.
