"Truly excellent"
I have stayed in quite a number of hotels in Bangkok (20 and counting), but this Centre Point certainly stood out. As an Expedia Elite member I got a room upgrade and free breakfast, this was a nice extra perk. The room has a kitchenette and is quite spacious. The staff was amazing, I had some gym gear on the balcony and when I returned they had taken it inside and provided a drying rack, these extra touches made the stay a pleasure. The hotel is confusingly called Chidlom though officially it is not in Chidlom (this will confuse taxi drivers). its about a 10 minute walk to the shopping centre, BTS and the Lumpini park. It was a pleasure to stay at the Centre Point.

"Beautiful Hotel in the middle of city life"
This hotel was just great, modern rooms, bar on the 9th floor with happy hour and a pool and bar on the top floor too. This hotel was right in the cbd and close enough to everything and if not we just jumped into a tut tut to take us anywhere. The only downside to our stay was breakfast it was expensive but we went ahead anyway and it was all cold, so the next morning we just popped to McDonalds which is 2mins away.

"Hotel right in Central Bangkok!"
Within 2-5 mins walk to all the biggest shopping centre in Bangkok. Views are nothing to shout about but at least it's hidden from all the hustle and bustle and u could enjoy a peace and tranquil comfort that the hotel has to offer and yet it's so close to all the mains department stores and sky trains. I don't normally write reviews but occasionally when I'm deeply touched by the quality of service I have to let's others know so they can also enjoy it! This is one of the most stylish, unusual and cleverly designed hotels you'll ever find! If I like modern interior design, you'll marvel at The Lit! I could not find the staff more helpful anywhere! Smiles, courteous, polite and extremely helpfull everywhere in this hotel! I was so pleased to be able to tip them for their great service in return! Do not hesitate! Book it!

"Excellent hotel situated beside Skytrain station"
No complaints about hotel room or staff. Pool area not very inviting but we hadn't intended to use it much anyway as visiting Bangkok us not a "pool" holiday! Be aware, don't take the "bus tours" but instead get a private tour for your party to sightsee. We booked a tour to a River Kwai, elephant village etc. nice places, but the tour company wasted hours (and I mean hours!) of time picking up other people. We changed buses so often that in the end we had a driver who didn't even know where our hotel was to return us back safely, we ended up having to get out, walk and find a train station and make our own way back, not good in a strange city for two women on their own at night. However as we had booked it through the hotel, when we complained to the duty manager she instantly made sure we were not charged for the tour and gave us our dinner in the hotel restaurant free that evening (we had been away for 14 hours with just lunch provided at the River Kwai, a small bowl of rice/chicken, so be prepared and take snacks if you do these trips!). Couldn't recommend the restaurant in the hotel highly enough - Charm Thai. Food superb.

“Downtown” refers to a cluster of swanky entertainment and shopping complexes radiating out from Siam Square in the Puthumwan district. The square features everything from designer boutiques, to cafés, banks, and bookshops, and is across from other shopping centers such as Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Paragon. Jim Thompson’s Thai House Museum is a must-see. The skytrain provides convenient access to all.
