OK hotel, particularly at the price. Rooms rather small and (at least in my room on 2nd floor) bathroom stand right next to bed. OK for solo occupant but very cramped for 2. Almost no shelf space for clothes, with the only options being high up and consequently dusty. I am 6' tall and even I was struggling use these spaces. Reception on 3rd floor is rather like a travel agency in 1970, with 2-3 seated people behind desks. Not a welcoming experience in my view. Hotel is close to Clarke Quay but separated by a busy road. Getting to Clarke Quay is outside on overpasses. No shops or any facilities around the hotel. Use the hotel restaurant (I did not) or walk to CQ where lunch and dinner are catered for but breakfast scarce.

Wonderful Stay with Great Hospitality — Some Areas to Improve.We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Sentosa, and overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable experience.A special shoutout to the all-day dining restaurant team serving breakfast and dinner — they were truly exceptional. The food quality, variety, and presentation were excellent, and the staff’s warmth and attentiveness made every meal delightful. In fact, we chose to dine in every day purely because of the experience they created. The property itself has a very calming and positive vibe. The ambience is serene, the surroundings are beautiful, and the staff across the hotel are courteous and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was seeing birds and peacocks freely roaming around — it added a unique charm to the overall experience. That said, there are a few areas where the property could improve: Cleanliness near reception area Upon arrival, the restrooms near the reception were not clean. While the staff responded promptly once informed, a more proactive approach to upkeep—especially in high-visibility areas—would significantly enhance the first impression. Swimming pool safety (especially for kids) The swimming pool is not particularly kid-friendly. It can feel unsafe for children without flotation support such as life jackets or inflatable tubes. Additionally, the lifeguard presence felt passive — there was limited proactive monitoring or intervention, which is an area that needs attn.

This was a wonderful hotel. The staff was great and it was in a convenient location, The pool was being worked on during our staff but the hotel offered free transportation to a nearby hotel. I would highly recommend this property.

I wanted to stay at Hotel Indigo Katong as I wanted to stay somewhere that FELT like Singapore. All other hotels look the same, you could be anywhere on the planet. But at Indigo Katong I am deeply set in Heritage Singapore. Such a gorgeous hotel, room and staff. So lovely. The staff even took their time to explain the history of the area, and why certain things are uniquely set out in the way they are in the hotel. Everyone has been a pure delight, and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Spotless and clean, free great Wi-Fi, food and drinks, super pretty rooftop pool with amazing views….. location is right near the Marine Parade MRT, a supermarket, stores, restaurants and the gorgeous - famous - Joo Chiat Rd. Love it! Thank you Hotel Indigo Katong! I would absolutely stay here again.
