The staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

Property is about 15 min walk from Zurich HB. But just off the main road so easy to navigate, has shops close by and lots of trams go past so easy to travel round Zurich. The area was clean and safe. The staff were wonderful, the room was large with large bathrooms. And the breakfast was lovely! Would stay here again!!

Good location. Had all the basics you’d need in a hotel. iPad controls for the room was a nice touch. Black out blinds were great.

Great staff and an excellent restaurant

Had a great stay at Hotel Wellenberg. The staff were fantastic! The location is right in the heart of the restaurants and lovely cobbled streets. We thought it would be noisy but it wasn’t (we stayed on the fifth floor). It’s probably about a 10 min walk from the main train station, and very conveniently located to walk to everything nearby. The breakfast was fab too! We particularly enjoyed the library and games room with Xbox and a massive TV!

Excellent communication from start to finish With map and tram details to get to apartment. In a great location 2 minute walk to lake and a lovely 15 minute stroll to centre or a tram just outside. Room had everything you needed and got cleaned within our stay which doesnt normally happen in an apartment. Staff were friendly and when my travel plug didn’t work they were on hand with a spare which I could keep for whole of trip. If we ever visit Zurich again I would definitely stay here.

Location is very central

Beautiful views, friendly staff and quiet environment with spacious rooms.

The only minor criticism is that the wardrobe hanging space was too small, and no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Otherwise, a great hotel and the hotel's restaurants were also very good, as was the breakfast. It is located quite a way outside the city centre, but is right on the lake and the boat stops right outside. We had a car and easily drove into the city, parking is fairly reasonably priced.

This hotel is very close to the railway station and easy to find when getting off the train from Zurich Airport. However we did not find that there was any problem with noise from the trains. We found the staff to be pleasant, helpful and attentive and our room was comfortable and very modern. From our balcony we had a good view of Lake Zurich one way and the station the other. Food was very good but being Switzerland, expensive, although it compared reasonablywell with other local...

Stayed here on business always a good place to stay

The hotel is very well located in the center of the old town of Horgen and still close to the lake and public transport. The room was quite cosy, but since the building is very old, one can hear a lot of footsteps from the room above. Other than that and the too stuffed pillows, my stay was great. Lots of attention to detail and a huge selection on the breakfast buffet.

The hotel was in an excellent central location not only were there bus stops close by but the main train station was within easy walking distance. Our double bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast offered a lot of variety and Marco the breakfast assistant was polite and attentive. The amenities were all excellent and the only thing missing was a fridge in the room which is why I only gave 4 and not 5 stars .
