"A newer hotel with an old look. The breakfast is amazing.
Hotel is far from the train station 30-40 min walk. But the green line subway stops almost at the door. Lots of inexpensive restaurants nearby try Gyosa. Imperial palace is a short walk. I would recommend and I would book again"
"Always frontline staff available at check in to help you. Excellent bakery for coffees, cake and savoury treats. The rooms are fairly big and very clean. All amenities are well equipped and available. Great location and rooms are very quiet. "
"Loved the hotel
Was very pleased with the room and the staff, location is prime!!! Close to Nishiki market and shopping would return again and again
"
"The first room we had was dirty so they quickly changed us to a clean room. They are militant about taking your shoes off here, we loved the free dessert bar, but overall the hotel was absolutely packed with tourists and kind of crazy. The staff, however, went above and beyond to take care of every need we had. The rooms are small for us Americans but the bed was comfortable. "
"Great property and well kept grounds. The onsen was fantastic. Welcome drink and breakfast were nice touches. They set up a baby crib and baby bedding and blanket for us, which was perfect. Only draw back is the location is a 10-15 minute walk to train station and restaurant area. They also did not have room for us for dinner in the hotel lobby "
"One of the best hotel and resort I have ever experienced. the staff was exceptional. Every need was anticipated beforehand. From the welcome greeting as you steped out of taxi through the personalized sit down check in. Explaining the property. The bell hop showed off the room, stunning view and amenities. we were overwhelmed. absolutely amazing experience. more to follow."
