"I had a very disappointing experience at Hunter Hotel in Medellín. From the moment I checked in, things were off. First, they charged me 100,000 COP for “dirty sheets” — which makes no sense because sheets are meant to be washed anyway. It’s not like anything was damaged or excessively soiled. That alone felt like a money grab. The biggest issue was the AC. It barely worked the entire stay. I told the receptionist multiple times, and each time he claimed he restarted all the units and that it should get cooler — it never did. The room was extremely tight, with almost no airflow, and to make things worse, the windows were screwed shut. I had no option but to sleep in a hot, stuffy room every night, sweating and uncomfortable. Breakfast service was just as frustrating. The server was inattentive, literally walking away mid-conversation while I was trying to order. She took a long time to bring the check when asked, spent most of her time on her phone, and still expected a tip after barely providing any service. Overall, this hotel was a terrible experience. Between the unfair charges, uncomfortable rooms, and poor service, I would not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ll also be posting a video online to show exactly what my experience was like. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE."

"Let me start off with the pros. First of all the place looks exceptional. For the people saying it needs to be updated. I'm not sure what to consider updated but this is a very classy place. It's not modern and it's not supposed to be. The free breakfast is beyond Continental. Amazing selection of food. The rooms were beautiful. The only thing I would say is the view from the balcony is obstructed because of construction, but that is not at the fault of the hotel. They don't really have a gym area. It's not usable if you're into lifting weights. However, the staff is kind professional, and they even went above and beyond for me and let me stay an additional hour because my flight was delayed. They also greet you with a thoughtful gift when you arrive. I would say the place can be sometimes noisy at night. They do provide you with earplugs though. Please keep in mind it is in the heart of Provenza with all the restaurants and nightlife around the corner. It is within walking distance from everything. True walking distance. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much hotel Du Parc for your hospitality and exceptional customer service."

"In terms of accommodations and amenities, everything was generally well-maintained and accessible. Staff and locals were friendly and helpful, which made navigating the area much easier. Food options were diverse, with something for every budget—though I’d recommend trying local specialties for a more authentic experience"

"We enjoyed everything about this hotel!! The hotel is very close to all the great restaurants and bars. The hotel’s staff are always very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms of this hotel are amazing!!! The pictures don’t do this property any justice ! This hotel is absolutely beautiful!! You have to stay here to really appreciate the beauty of this property. I highly recommend this hotel!! Five stars in my book!!"
