Zona Arqueológica de Xcaret

Overall, the property was clean. and visually maintained. Unfortunately, our room, the air conditioning wasn’t working, and we had to ask for another room after no one came to fix it, and once we settled into our new room, they had us move once again, telling us it was an upgrade even after we had unpacked everything and we were settled in. Not all the restaurants were open at the same time, which was not expected. which was unfortunate because we wanted to have more variety while we were there. They did open up on the second part of our stay, but it was just a letdown that it was not available right from beginning. Also, our hot water was turned off without warning for three days during the day, which was a bit of an annoyance. Was not the worst stay I’ve ever had, but definitely not the best stay. The staff was very pleasant to deal with. which we really enjoyed. The food overall was not spectacular, but it was good and we did enjoy our meals.

Disappointing Stay at Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres Our stay at Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres fell well below expectations, particularly for a Master Suite booking. The biggest disappointment was our airport transfer. Despite receiving a booking confirmation and voucher, no transfer was arranged. After being advised by the hotel to take a taxi, with a promise of reimbursement, we paid USD 175. When we tried to resolve the issue, we were passed between departments, with neither the hotel nor management taking responsibility. The advertised butler service was also poor. We never met our butler, and WhatsApp responses were very slow. Our suite had several issues, including a malfunctioning main shower, visible damage and poor interior finishing. Even the welcome card was addressed to another family. Food and drinks were mediocre, and customer service throughout the resort was basic. Overall, the lack of attention to detail, poor service and failure to take responsibility for problems made our stay disappointing. The experience did not meet the standards expected of a luxury resort, and we would struggle to recommend it.
