"I enjoyed my stay, it's an old building so I didn't expect much from an old building in Amsterdam. If you've been to Amsterdam then you know of the steep staircases and thin hallways but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. For the price I paid for being so close to the central train station I am satisfied. "

"The decor of our room was beautifully artsy. The hotel smelled like palo santo in a wonderful way. The breakfast they offered was world class! So many tasty options including some of the best smoked salmon ive ever tasted. And the staff was always happy to help us with questions we had. 10/10 would stay here again. "

"Excellent location, very clean, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Expected rooms to be much more functional. No ability to unpack a suitcase. Closet rod not deep enough for a coat hanger. Being almost 80 I didn't expect the only way to get into bed was to climb over from the bottom."

"What we liked: ‘cozy modern’, high-tech, linens were good quality, comfortable bed, quiet, clean, stylish, friendly reception/bar staff, and close to public transportation. What we did not like: Insufficient information about all the amenities available to guests, difficult to communicate with hotel staff as the rooms have no phones and the iPads did not provide the ability to contact staff for services (i.e. replenish supplies, wake up calls, call a taxi, ask questions about the area, etc.). "
