"“GLAMPING” is the exact perfect word for this hotel! You are in the jungle. This is a few miles out of town on a dirt road, so it does take a bit of extra time and effort to get there. The “tents” are permanent structure on stilts. Maybe a bit more like a fancy hut! You can see the “bones” of the structure from inside, and it felt almost like being inside a huge whale’s rib cage! "A beautiful location with very helpful staff from check in to check out. We enjoyed our A-frame, including the swing and chairs on the front porch. An ideal place for a couple or family with older kids who will love the loft. We were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings or watch fútbol after long hikes. The restaurant was amazing, especially the local produce, for both breakfast and dinner. I strongly recommend staying and eating here."

"It is a very beautiful property feels like it's at the end of the road you turn and go down a long road to finally get to it and all of a sudden it appears it says they serve a continental breakfast but it was a huge buffet breakfast which was pretty incredible the water was highly overpriced a bottle of water Nicholas was an incredible help at the front desk the rooms appeared to be quite small. Once again the best part was The Helpful staff and the incredible unexpected breakfast."

"I'd totally go back to Tupa Lodge. When I booked, I saw some bad reviews, but a lot of it was about the last little bit of road, like 300 to 400 meters. The road's a bit rough, but that's not unusual around here. Just drive a bit slower and you will be fine. We used Uber and taxis with no problems. I actually think that's a good thing—less traffic means less noise. The peace and quiet are the best part of the lodge. The grounds are beautiful and chill, right on the river looking at Paraguay to the west. The cabins are clean and rustic but have everything you need. The staff were super nice. The day we left, our flight got delayed, and they were cool with us staying an extra 4 hours and using everything. There's a beautiful deck and a two-level pool, perfect for chilling after a long day or just hanging out all day if you want. The restaurant has local food, and the local fish I had was amazing. They were fine with dietary restrictions. The whole vibe of the place was relaxing and welcoming. This is a lodge and not the Ritz Carlton. I totally recommend Tupa Lodge."
