"This hotel is truly magical. It's clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location. The staff is so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and very convenient. We felt very welcome. I would definitely stay here again!!"

"Not enough water to drink, only a small bottle to refill at the restaurant and the staff either keeps one waiting for ever or refuses to refill it. Keep in mind, the tap water is not safe to drink and the small bottles in the fridge are sold at a very high price. No stores around as the hotel is outside of town. Service is mediocre, breakfast food is average (starch and sugary), steak dinner was good. The view of the river is nice but we got the second floor, not a high floor we had reserved and requested by message, so it was not as good as we had expected. The bed is good. The bathroom plumbing and layout are bad. Shower splashes all over despite the water pressure being very low. It makes noise, so does the toilet for a while after flushing. We had to close the door at night because of the noise. The bidet has so much pressure, it splashes all over. Poor quality craftsmanship, design and (partially) remodeled. Not very clean ( hair in bedroom and shower etc.) Lots of noise in the hallways as people slam hard to close doors. FYI, the rooms on the “ jungle” side are on a noisy street, busy 24/7. Misleading information: The indoor pool is too small to swim. The hot tub is nice and not too hot. "

"Mi experiencia en el Iguazú Grand fue excelente, especialmente en un momento en que necesitaba descanso y cuidado. Llegué sintiéndome mal, y el staff hizo todo lo posible por asistirme. Fueron increíblemente atentos y considerados, incluso enviaron botellas de Gatorade a mi habitación, un gesto que realmente hizo la diferencia. Desde mi llegada, el servicio fue impecable. "This was one of the most amazing stays, being in the forest is such a surreal experience - the sounds, the sweet smell of the forest, the resident cats! We visited in the first week of April and stayed in room Botanica 18, which had a hot tub on the balcony - this came in handy when the rain started. We also enjoyed the pool (which is open 9 am to 9 pm) - we went at 8 pm, and we had the whole pool area for ourselves, plus the water was the perfect temperature. The restaurant was also delicious, just don't forget to make a reservation! Throughout our stay all staff were so welcoming and friendly and spoke great English. I would definitely stay here again!"

"I'd totally go back to Tupa Lodge. When I booked, I saw some bad reviews, but a lot of it was about the last little bit of road, like 300 to 400 meters. The road's a bit rough, but that's not unusual around here. Just drive a bit slower and you will be fine. We used Uber and taxis with no problems. I actually think that's a good thing—less traffic means less noise. The peace and quiet are the best part of the lodge. The grounds are beautiful and chill, right on the river looking at Paraguay to the west. The cabins are clean and rustic but have everything you need. The staff were super nice. The day we left, our flight got delayed, and they were cool with us staying an extra 4 hours and using everything. There's a beautiful deck and a two-level pool, perfect for chilling after a long day or just hanging out all day if you want. The restaurant has local food, and the local fish I had was amazing. They were fine with dietary restrictions. The whole vibe of the place was relaxing and welcoming. This is a lodge and not the Ritz Carlton. I totally recommend Tupa Lodge."
