Checked in mid evening and was cold outside. Was informed at check in that the team had been to my room and closed the curtains and put the heating on so it was not cold. Wow now that’s some check in service

Lovely one night stay. The Sunday lunch was delicious, the room was lovely with a huge round bath. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. I'm sure we'll return.

The hotel is located very close to the A19 near to Yarm, however it is located in the beautiful and tranquil grounds which enjoy stunning views of the Cleveland Hills with only a very low level of noise drifting up from the A19. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We were made to feel both very welcome and comfortable with nothing being a problem. Also, the staff were attentive without being overly familiar or making us feel uncomfortable. The bar service was quick with a quality...

The hotel was lovely with fantastic sea views and lots of character was very clean and tidy .

I never sleep well on the first night away in a hotel, but I slept like a baby here. I found everything to be clean, well laid out and comfortable. The owners were warm and amiable when I arrived, and I really appreciated the laid back approach to breakfast and check-out. If I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to look them back up.

Great restaurant

This place is a HUGE hidden gem! From start to finish, the service, staff, spa, value for money, everything was fantastic! We have stayed in many many hotels in the UK and this hotel has to be our favourite. The secret garden spa for an extra £25pp is worth every penny! We stayed in Tiplady 4 and it was perfect sitting outside as it was south facing so ordered a bottle of wine and nibbles before going to Nu Sana for an evening meal. Nu Sana food was brilliant and we had breakfast in the...

Had an amazing stay at The White House, room was big and clean. Breakfast was great, made to order. Would recommend this hotel

Friendly welcome on arrival and was actually shown to the room. Lovely and clean with refreshments and bottled water. Food was excellent both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely book again

Loved my stay. Lovely view and very clean bedroom and en-suite.

Stayed in a feature room, really authentic. Staff are great and spa access was £15pp.

Awesome guest house. I travel for work and this is one guest house I'll be booking again for myself outside of work.

Great quiet place, lovely location go there again Great staff

Great room, clean and tidy, just a bit noisy until closing time! Would stay again.

Our stay at Walworth Castle Hotel was truly memorable, not just because of the stunning setting, but thanks to the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Adrian, part of the breakfast team at the 1189 Kitchen & Bar, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we started each morning with a smile. The service was excellent, and his warm demeanor really stood out. A special thank you to Mary at reception, who took the time—despite it being a busy period—to personally show...

We stayed here to watch the Tour de Yorkshire the hotel staff were lovely, breakfast cooked to order alongside the buffet. The only downside was the bed was smaller than we are used to so sleep was difficult. (Room19) maybe ask for a larger bed if you are a couple! However we had a fabulous break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in this beautiful boutique hotel. We booked the room overlooking the Cathedral which was stunning. The room was really large and immaculately designed. The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. The walk was no more than 10 minutes to the centre. We were so impressed with this hotel and Durham we would definitely come back.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great with a huge choice of options.

The hotel was just what we wanted for an overnight stay.our room was on the top floor, spotlessly clean, comfy bed and breakfast was lovely, set us up for the day. Thank you
