"It was a lovely place. My only complaint was that the walls are pretty thin and was really noisy with a family next door. We would like to visit again when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy more of the amenities. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and view of the James River. "

"We have always had such bad luck with hotels, but we were so incredibly pleased with how smooth this entire stay was. The staff was responsive, friendly, and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was relaxing, and the breakfast was a huge win for my family. "The stay in itself was fine. The only issue we had was that our room was right under the HVAC units so the noise was irritating (when we checked in they weren’t running) and made it hard to sleep restfully. We were there for the night. When I told them the next morning at checkout, they did offer us free breakfast, which I appreciated. "

"Stayed here before. Great deal. Family loves the pool. This trip an elevator was flaky. Had to kick the door to get it to close. Night manager said she got stuck in it and had to call for help. No big deal though. We enjoyed our stay."

"It was gross. The hotel was sketchy with a weird man hanging around the front of the hotel. The bathtub was rusted and chipping. The pillows smelled like urine which made my hair stink and to make it all worse there was no late check out and the property manager literally waited outside my door as I was trying to get my things and leaves. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The whole experience was horrible. "
